Rudy Mak BSc, OLS is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, and the University of Toronto. He articled in Simcoe, Ontario and was commisssioned as an Ontario Land Surveyor in 1982. In 1986, he opened his own practice in Barrie Ontario expanding from a small office to 35 employees by 1989. The main focus was the development industry with over 1000 homes being laid out in some years. In 1989, Rudy expanded into the scanning/GIS field training in Huntsville Alabama, and therafter working on projects from California to Montreal. In 2001, Rudy together with Peter Raikes and 3 other land surveyors developed an on-line website to sell copies of old survey plans to the public and to other survey firms. Other firms from around the province were invited to participate and the site currently has over a half million plans with one million expected by the end of 2007. Recently, Rudy and partner Steve Dobo merged their firm with long time associate Peter Raikes surveying to form the new firm CDN Land Surveyors Inc.

Steve Dobo CST is a graduate of Georgian College and has over 30 years experience in the construction/mapping industry. Steve has managed projects such as the Nanticoke Generating Station, the Port Colborne Starch Plan, and hundreds of buildings in Barrie from Costco to the waterfront condominiums.

Peter Raikes BSc., OLS, CLS is both an Ontario and Canada Land Surveyor.  Peter holds a BSc from the University of Toronto in Survey Science.  Peter trained with Raikes Surveying as an instrument man, party chief and articling student.  Peter took over Raikes Surveying six years ago and specializes in legal surveys and boundary problems.  Call him with your problem.
